Quality Engineer - Logistics

Reporting to the Quality Manager - Logistics and working across all the activities (warehousing, transportation etc) in the Logistics arena, this exciting role will require the individual to:

Complete and coach problem resolution inside Rolls-Royce and with our third party logistics provider.

Accurately maintain KPIs on the performance of Logistics, support the governance meetings in which these KPIs are reviewed and use the knowledge behind the drivers of performance to stimulate improvement / recovery actions.

Where appropriate, participate in / lead improvement projects to help ensure we are getting the best performance from our Logistics activities.

Write / amend procedures and instructions that describe our Logistics activities to ensure they reflect best practice. Ensure compliance with those documents.

Support the identification and mitigation of risks associated with our Logistics activities
